Abraham Domoyaga Gura is my name. I came from a polygamous and idol worshiping family background. I became a Christian through the meetings of the late Pastor John Meyiri. Later, my late father became a believer too, through the prayers and persuasions of many of my brothers and sisters who had become believers.
I served as assistant pastor at Busa Baptist Church and worked as a children class teacher from 1995 -1998. I also was a “house devotional leader” for the church from 1995 -1998
I came to Baa’yiri to work at Samuel Seidu Memorial Clinic in November of 1998. I continued my service for the Lord through the local church by teaching the adult Sunday School class for many years and working with the youth group. At clinic, besides my work as nursing assistant, lab technician, and interpreter, I try to find time to witness to the clients that come to us. I met my wife, Ruth, at Baayiri Baptist Church.
Cathy adds to this testimony
Abraham is a student of the Word. His Bible knowledge is impressive. I am thankful for his faithful ministry over the years. He takes every opportunity to share his faith. When not busy at clinic, I can know I will find Abraham sitting somewhere reading his Bible or another study book.
